Clemens, McGwire, and Bonds should all have a lifetime ban from the game of baseball, and not be allowed a chance into the HOF ever!! Bonds' HR record should have an asterisk next to it at best. Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth did it on heart, and intestinal fortitude, not steroids!!

    So sad.

Clemens should have just confessed and admitted steroid use, suffer the slight punishment, and move on. Pride is the biggest obstacle to most people, imo.

Anyone who saw the way he whipped the bat precariously close to Mike S. running to first to force the throw after it broke and rolled benignly to the mound had to think the guy was juiced. Such a reaction never happened before or since, and it was uncontrollabe roid rage, pure and simple. The previous year he beaned the same guy in the head, because he was known to be able to hit RC out of the stadium more than once. The size of his head (both in and out) is very similar to Barry Bonds. This guy is GUILTY as sin. What a BSer to boot. I don't care about his "25 years of service" ha. Multi-Millionaire steroid user who "rejuvenated his career" late in his 30's. Hello?

@isthistheend-Yuo're refering to the game when Mike Piazza's bat broke, and a big chunk went flying out towards the mound at Clemens. There was a lot of drama building up to that game, because of their history. It was a very classless act on Clemens part, and he should've been ejected from the game, but unfortunately, the cash rules. If I remember correctly, it was a World Series game, so that may have played into his not being ejected as well.

Yes, Mike Piazz's bat. I couldn't recall the dudes name at the time of writing. But yes, it was a clear case of roid rage. Nothing compares with it except his beaning Piazza in the head with close to dead heat the previous year. That "message" pitch too, was no accident in my book. And look at Clemens face during now being posted of the time he "testified" before Congress. Talk about trying to lie and get away with it!

Public life!!! Clemens thinks he was a public servant!! Roger, you made 20 million a year as a baseball player!! You weren't a public servant!!!

    I agree with Toguro.

No HOF for those three and Hank Aaron should still be considered the home run king.

Well let's look at witness Brian McNamee, how many times did this guy lie? He has been inconsistant and a complusive lier. And George Mitchell report is not accurate and inconclusive...Was Clemens at Canceco's party when McNamee alleges that he met Clemens? Mitchell report has not verified with any witness other than McNamee and printed as facts. They need to prove their accusations. Clemens will get out lightly because the witness is not creditable.

Before you jump to conclusion, not like in Japan, Bonds has not been convicted of anything. He is innocent until proven guity. Bonds trial starts soon and he will be acquitted (not guilty). Remember, "Beyond Resonable Doubt" and it's going to be difficult to convict Bonds. Bonds will have the last laugh.

How about innocent until his head size expands past that of an NFL football players helmut?
