  Rogge may be right and Rogge may be wrong.

  It's probably true that most of the world does not want to boycott the Olympics as an athletic event. However, there certainly is a sizeable number of voices all over the globe who are willing to boycott other aspects of the Olympics to send a message to the CCP; like people declining to attend the opening ceremony.

  Is that what the government controlled media is telling you? Did the censored news in China also miss that the EU voted to condemn China too?

  I'm sure that Japan/USA is soooooooo envious of the lack of sanitation, the level of pollution, the destruction of the environment, the level of government censorship/oppression, the piss-poor level of worker safety, flagrant intellectual property violations, etc. that is rampant in China.

  The USA (and even Japan) has had more Olympics than China (Zero to date), who do you think is actually inferior?

  Of course, some may be envious of the all of the counterfeit goods comeing out of China for pennies on the dollar or the faux Doraemon-Disneyland in China which you can get into for about 1/10th of the admission price....
