Given the injury to Thiago and the suspensions that Bayern have for the second leg, United have a puncher's chance of going through in this.

1 all at home is not a great result by United's standards. the Moyes "revolution" continues.

More performances like this and Moyes can be sure of a second season.

So glad to have disappointed the haters. On to the Allianz Arena...

@USN No disappointment nor hatred here. Perhaps it's you who should be disappointed. A battling performance against Bayern Munich and a run-in with wins against the likes of Norwich and Hull should ensure another season with the chosen one.

Too little too late for the PL season obviously but, as much as I hate it, I've all but resigned myself to accepting that Moyes will be at United past May and that I will have to continue to suffer his idiotic selections and substitutions and general tactical deficiencies. All I can do is hope that his learning curve will steepen sooner than later. What other choice do I have besides to support the club and its players regardless of who the manager may be? It's really hard to be a glory hunter you know? As for this match, it was one of the best performances from United this season in my opinion. We actually defended surprisingly (and uncharacteristically) well and could very well have had one or two more goals if it wasn't for Welbeck's stupid attempt to float the ball over a 6'4" Neuer and his disallowed goal for a bullshit high kick. Like davestrousers said above, a single away goal isn't absolutely insurmountable, even at Bayern. I appreciate that you harbor no disappointment or hatred, but the silence here from the regulars on United related articles is telling...
