Good luck Eddie! If anyone can rebuild the train-wreck that is English rugby union, it is Eddie.

Wow, a bold interesting move, kudos to SAfrica for letting you make the move!

Eddie is coaching the "enemy". But then again, 12 years since our shattering defeat in the final. Fortunately Cheika has more loyalty than you, Eddie. You weren't even their first choice

Rugby is a game that is above the "enemy" hype of other silly sports. In rugby you respect strong teams just as you show respect to teams that are not. Eddie was a good coach for Australia as he has been for every team he has coached and the result in the final where Australia lost was no reflection of that. England have made a good choice.

Thats true, but a bit harsh on EJ there, Christopher! Professional sport calls for the best candidate for management these days, regardless of nationality. Us Aussies, remember, have employed foreign rugby union, soccer and cricket national coaches - to varying degrees of success - and England have likewise poached Aussie coaches for rugby union, rugby league, swimming and cricket!

England are the great underachievers of world rugby. 6 Nations has been won once since 2003 RWC. Largest playing numbers, most money, yet the English are perenial bridesmaids when it comes to the sport of rugby. Good luck to Eddie, he'll need it.

Different story with Eddie Jones. We have a complicated history with England there
