I must admit, Mr. Pound is rather brave in going after Russia so aggressively. Without trying to be a sensationalist in any way, I would note that those that publicly go after the Russian regime have a habit of pushing up daisies sooner than they planned.

Russia really needs to step back and withdraw from world competition, get their house in order, and maybe come back in 2020 or 2024. After all this damning evidence, no-one wants to see them in Rio. Same deal for the Kenyans: both teams will be booed from pillar to post should they make the trip to Rio.

WADA way to go!

WADA got the doping US athletes; now they're going after the doping Russian athletes. Then the athletes were trying to cheat the system; now seems it's the system trying to cheat.

Really shouldn't be a surprise though - Russia is far ahead leading the athletes world in doping violations since 2013:

1) Russia - 225

2) Turkey - 188

3) France - 108

4) India - 95

5) Belgium - 94

6) Italy - 83

7) Spain - 67

8) Poland - 55

9) Kazakhstan - 47

10) South Africa - 46

Sports just get put too much emphasis in some countries.

The Russia agency just made an U-turn and said they'd cooperate with WADA.

Comparatively little doping in China then?

Ever get the sense that morals and standards in Russian society have been quickly unraveling over the past couple of years?

Morals and standards??? You're talking about a country that has a bribery system that has been in place for so long it's not even recognized as bribery anymore. Ten years ago I had to pay a local cop to perform what was (on paper) a routine no-cost action for tourists: stamping my passport to confirm I'm staying at the hotel I said I was going to stay at. Not a single person there thought anything was out of the ordinary in him demanding rubles before he would do it.
