C'mon ladies - someone beat Serena! I've got my fingers crossed for Bencic. Not only is Venus physically incapable of beating Serena anyhow, but she wouldn't ruin her sister's chances at the calendar slam.

Also, it's a shame this article didn't mention Lopez's win over Fish. Very entertaining and emotional match, and a nice send-off for Fish into retirement after a good career and tremendous will to overcome the psychological problems that sidelined him for the last year or so. To me, that was the top story of the day's matches.
