I'm very proud of the Japanese teams success, but I don't know a lot about Judo.

Moderators, would you please post what "yuko" and "waza ari" (as well as any others) mean?

Ippon : 10 points, match over, Waza-Ari : 7 points, if you score two it's an ippon and the match is over, Yuko : 5 points. You can score 15 Yuko for example, if your opponent scored a waza-ari you still lose.
