Well done to the Australian legend Casey and happy birthday too!!
All this talk about how much of a god Valentino is - well, Stoner won on the Ducati and now the Honda. Valentino cant win squat on the Ducati.

Well done, Casey! True Aussie legend! Not sure whether he will catch the best motorcycle racer the world has ever seen - Mick Doohan with 7 world titles - but Casey will have a red hot go! Agree DentShop - the Rossi myth is looking quite sad now!

Wow, winning the world title and your 5th straight home GP on your birthday. Could it possible get any better? Just a shame about Jorge crashing in practice and losing a finger. I'm sure Casey wouldn't want to win it that way.

Well done Stoner. Awesome rider.
@DentShop - Rossi is well proven and his ability is beyond doubt. I think it's more a case of the Repsol Hondas moving ahead in development with Ducati standing still.
Lorenzo did so well on the Yamaha last year thanks to Rossi's development on it in previous seasons. If it hadn't been for his injury, Rossi might have been wearing the #1 plate this season.
@Burakumin - Rossi myth? I wouldn't call it a myth with NINE world championships to his name. Both Doohan and Rossi won five titles consecutively, but Rossi has won seven premier class titles to Doohan's five. And Rossi's includes both the vicious old 2-strokes as well as the current 4-strokes.
