Uehara was fine and one of the top aces in Japan until clown-coach Hara and the Kyojin management wanted to teach Uehara a lesson about wanting to leave for the Major League's and took him off the rotation and then placed him as a closer. Uehara is no closer and never was. Closing is a different ball game to starting and Uehara was a great ace starter. I sympathise with the guy because mentally he left Kyojin a while ago. And as you all know, I'm a Tigers nut.
