In the Big Apple ? I certainly hope so !

I hope he has a great time in the US. I wish more young Japanese people would embrace foreign travel and living abroad; it would go a long way to helping reduce the inward-looking narrowmindedness often encountered here.

not being reported by JMedia is he took a chartered flight with his wife and poodle to New York, paying $200,000 for the flight.
sounds like a jerk off to me... good luck bro

Shows how completely naive he is about American baseball and the Yankees in particular. Putting on the uniform does not make you a Yankee. You earn that with years of greatness on the field. Not flashy numbers in Japan and flying there in a 787. If that is his attitude he could be a real problem in the club house.

You don't win all those games in a row with a bad attitude. I don't think his attitude is something we have to worry about.

Yankees will need to ease him into an appropriate role on the roster. Sense he will adjust and do well in NY. Flying there in whatever style is his choice. He has the money thus he can choose the means.

How come the content of his speech is way better than other players from other foreign countries?
