Geez - dunni if I'd call it a "flop". He has never really swum IM - possibly with the exception of Comm. Games 2002. Good first up swim, he will be competitive in the freestyle thats for sure and certain. GO THORPEDO!

I am with BD on this. Tough headline! Most would think making a final in his first swim meet in 5 years in the weak for him IM, is a great comeback. He will only improve.
