“If my rivals have a rough weekend it makes it a bit harder for them and it gives me a bit more scope, but I’m not looking to abuse that because it can all go pear shaped very fast.”

It never stopped you from taking Lewis Hamilton out on a number of occasions previously Mr Webber..

As a McLaren fan, either driver simply has to win this race. There are no other options. Personally, I like Button but I think Hamilton is the more aggressive driver and that will put him slightly ahead of Jenson. But if it comes to strategy, Button will be in a far better position.

Outside of McLaren, Red Bull has a similar situation - Vettel is more aggressive but Webber is a pragmatist. If I had to put money on it, it would be on Vettel. Hopefully Alonso doesn't win it.

Go Webber! This track supposedly will suit the Red Bulls, as did Suzuka - and Mark is on form - the title is coming back home to Aus!

As the article says, this track suits different teams in different sections. That should make this race more interesting, and extend nicely the nail-biting climax to the season.

I think Vettel is more than slightly irritating to Mark.

Massa has said he will get up in among the front runners and mess them around, to Alonso's advantage.

But Massa's pace is way behind the front runners. If he wants to get in and about the leaders, he has to seriously improve from Suzuka & Singapore. If you want a dark horse to infiltrate the top five, then either Robert Kubica from Renault or Nico Rosberg might be a better bet.

    Agreed. Just quoting Massa himself!

Wondering if the Koreans have looked long and hard at Shanghai and learned any lessons from there? Saw in the news yesterday that many Koreans are openly angry over the infighting and lack of planning that went into building this new circuit.

Perhaps the best race of the year.
