I guess that means now as the season finished last weekend

Good news for upcoming independent British F1 companies, perhaps.

Subaru leaving WRC was bigger news

Why is JT reporting this when they seldom report the F1 race results? Fans of F1 would like to read about the races and comment on them, I am sure, but we can't. I wanted to say what a brilliant drive Kamui Kobayashi showed us last weekend, but there was nowhere to leave praise for him, here on a supposedly Japanese site! Boo....

Surely this news should be in the Business section, then, not Sports.

man, 2009 needs to go ahead and end. What a horrible year for everything, especially motorsports!

Finally, rationallity wins over pride. Although Toyota had a much bigger budget every year than all the other Teams, they hardly could succed. Toyota construct good cars for the masses, they should only work on that...

I hope another team snaps up Kobayashi - he drove like an absolute demon.

It's a shame for this talented young kid, because I can't see that happening. Japanese drivers tend to be installed only in Japanese teams or teams with Japanese Engines. I just can't see a Japanese driver in a European team unless its a pay-for-a-drive deal.

"I hope another team snaps up Kobayashi - he drove like an absolute demon."

dito alot of people i'm sure.

apparently he had all but given up on motorsport two months ago as he had run out of money and was thinking that next year he will go back to helping his father in his sushi restaurant.

"here on a supposedly Japanese site! Boo...."

...its an American focused site, hence maybe why f1 or polls about Japan are not commonly thought about by the people that work at JAPAN Today.
