That second goal by van Persie! What a pass and what a finish. It's a one in a million, that left foot of RvP.
United ran out deserved champions in the end. What a magnificent response to last year's disappointment.

Meh. Where was Van Persie's magical left foot when they needed him against Real Madrid? United seem to do well against poor quality opposition. Lucky for them they play in the Premier League.

Yeah that's what I'd probably say if I'm trying to convince everyone, including myself, that they're sour grapes. Pathetic.
Guess you'd have to bring up the most undeniably controversial match of the year when nothing else will stick.

We're not done! There are 12 possible points left for the taking to make it a record 96 point haul!

Great team and great manager. and all done with a fraction of the spending of other top flight clubs.

Manchester City have officially become the worst ever defending Premier League champions by only holding on to the trophy for 344 days, ten days shorter than the Rovers who previously earned the dubious distinction back in '96. Another feather in Mancini's cap...

Apparently many fans were leaving during the title celebrations. Looks like that expert they brought in to improve the atmosphere isn't doing too well. Either that or they ran out of prawn sandwiches.
Wonder how Shinji Kagawa will feel watching his old team still going for the big one this week. I know where I'd rather be.

Probably nothing at all, seeing as his old team isn't going to be league champions, which he now has in the bag three years running, and being a smart young man he knows that the CL final will most likely be a Barca-Real final and exactly why.
I know it's out of habit for you since we win so regularly, but are you going to whine like this about United all through next season too?

CL is way more important than domestic leagues now, for the big teams at least. I think Dortmund have as good a chance as anyone left in the competition.
Probably.
