The Vikings are not that good. Green Bay has been playing horrible for many weeks now. They will lose their wildcard game to the Hawks, but congrats anyway.

WHO DEY ! GO BENGALS ! On to the Steelers for the third time this year ! C'mon guys !

I say Panthers win the NFC, it will boil down to them vs Seahawks. But the seahawks will be playing them on the road.

The AFC? I'm not sure. 3-4 weeks ago, I would've said NE Patriots.

For those who don't have the NFL Season Pass or AFN, you can stream the NFL play-off games at http://atdhe.ru/ The quality is so-so, if you catch a strong link, the quality is pretty good. But its better than missing all the games and waiting for the highlights.

The Seahawks are too hit-and-miss this season. The NFC crown will be won by the Cardinals. They have way more weapons than the Panthers.

AFC? Rooting for the Texans to get to the Big Show. A long shot for sure, but we here in the Lone Star State gotta believe. . . .

Seattle’s Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes in a second-quarter burst, leading the Seahawks to a 36-6 win against Arizona.

But apparently not way more weapons than the Seahawks? 36-6 is a pretty convincing trouncing.

Our Redskins are staying consistent late in the season. No one believes they will win against the Packers, but they've been surprising us lately so who knows? Regardless, they've already accomplished so much more than they were supposed to this year, so the year is a rousing success even of they get blown out by Green Bay.

@fadamor

That Seattle/Arizona game was a garbage time football game. The Cards already locked up the NFC West title and the No.2 seed before either team hit the field. It meant nothing to them. Arizona was right to pull Carson Palmer in the second half. No need for him to get injured in a meaningless game. That game was the Seahawks Super Bowl for this year.

As for the Redskins, they've been a hot team the past few weeks. GB on the other hand could not even close the deal for the NFC North title in their own house. Look for Green Bay to be one and done this weekend in Washington. . . .

@Texas A&M Aggie

I agree. I'd put my money on the Cards as well. C Palmer helped me get to 2nd place in FF. Watching him all season, I hope he gets a ring.

I know they seahawks started out slow, but you can't underestimate R. Wilson's rallying drives.

@Fizz. Doesn't C Palmer already have a superbowl ring? Didn't AZ win back in '06 or '07?

@Wc,

Can't say anything bad about RW. He put up some impressive numbers this season. If Seattle had played better up to their bye week, Russell Wilson would have been in the hunt for this year's MVP title. The problem with the Hawks is their OC. Bevell runs the same plays in every game. The other teams know this and have been very effective in shutting them down. Hence, the reason for their so-so season. Just don't see them going far in the post season. . . .

@Wc626

No, he was with the Bengals back then.

good feedback. @Texas . . . good luck to ur Texans. TX teams have been pretty quiet since the Dallas Cowboys 90's era.

@Wc,

Thanks much. Houston does have its work cut out for them; then again, that's what's great about the NFL. The team that wants it more will find a way to win. . . .

Would love to face our old QB on Feb. 7th ! First we (Bengals) have to win a playoff game. Carson and AZ have a good chance I think. GO BENGALS ! WHO DEY !

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati, sounds like a great match-up. Is Ben Roethlisberger healthy and O line? I heard on nfl red zone, recently, that the Steelers are playing good ball.

I'll take Seahawks over Vikings. Green Bay has been playing ugly football. Lacy has potential, but 8 out of 10 rushes, he looks like a bum. Washington might send them send them reeling bck to GB to figure out what went wrong after that 7-0 start.

Only on paper. The Bengals haven't won a playoff game since the 1990 season -- including their current four consecutive first round exits. That's a 25-year exercise in futility.

AJ McCarron is also facing some rather long odds, too. Sunday's game will be only his fourth start. The last quarterback to win a playoff game after making three or fewer NFL regular season starts was Gifford Nielsen, who led my Houston Oilers to a win in San Diego during the 1979 season.

Plus, Pittsburgh's 14-3 all time at Paul Brown Stadium. That includes the Steelers' 31-17 playoff victory in their Super Bowl-winning 2005 season.

Of course, this is the playoffs and anything can happen. But look for the Steelers to meet the Patriots in the divisional round . . . .

Dalton had a habit of chocking in nationally televised games for years. It seems he's gotten over it, this could be the Bengals year but I would not want to go up against Relishburger and Brown at anytime. Should be a great game.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

@Fizzbit,

Except Dalton is not playing Sunday. He broke his thumb on his throwing hand in the Bengals loss to the Steelers last month.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

You're right. Forgot about that. Is he out for the season?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Read that Dalton got the cast removed on Monday, he has to rebuild the strength in his hand. The bigger problem is he hasn't practiced in three weeks, leaving him rusty -- a bad combination for a playoff game.. So, the Bengals are heading into the playoffs with McCarron as their signal caller. Dalton could be used as a backup if needed.

Stay tuned. . . .

After eating. too many pieces of hot wings, pizzas, dips & chips and beer, the games are getting very interesting. I always say to myself at beginning of NFL season, I would never ever waste my butt watching stupid games in front of TV instead of doing some outdoor activities. Well, here we go again, and my butt is glued to the couch.. Go Payton!!
