Tremendous win for Wales with great defence congratulations on a nice game, sorry for Ireland who were one of the tournaments favorite teams specially after trouncing aussie, well done Wales, at the moment it looks like you're gonna be meeting france next week.

Well, the French turned it on when it mattered, and it's never too sad when England loses! Go the Wallabies tomorrow!

Great stuff! Who doesn't love knockout rugby. My predictions have both been wrong so far, not a good start to the four game weekend. But happy to see England off home. They really were crap in the first half. Why did they keep persisting with the 15m kickoffs, hilarious! Still Tuilangi was awesome to watch, as was Wales' Warburton.
Can't wait for Aussie SA!

Yeah my prediction about france over england was correct good to see, I knew england were on their way home because you can only bluff for so long. Nobody sad to see france beat england, but france always screw someone in the world cup, last time it was the All Blacks this time they gave us all some justice by sending england packing.

No, Wales are going all the way and it should be Gatland Vs Henry final. Good to see the idiotic English on their way home, what a wasted space Tindall is.

The english were arrogant from the time they landed, playing up, partying, cheating, swapping balls between kicks, and their fans have no respect for anyone else, never have.
Notice today there wasnt alot of singing of that dreadful swing low song, guess england team swung low enough for them...................

idiotic, arrogant, cheating...anyway the french will go to the final.

Tough loss, but that is the nature of the knockout phase. A team that has been the worst of them all to make it can suddenly better all the others. Happens in all sports -- Japan has done it time and again with the WBC, for example. Anyway, makes the sport more fun.

The English are newer World Rugby Champions than both Ozzie and Kiwi, who will both not make it to the final. The English also No ! at other sport Ozzie graves? LOL. Go Roast Beef!

If thats as good as the northern hemispheres got-thay've got no chance of winning this.England pathetic lose to a very average performing France..Wales are playing as well as they can, which is still at a much lower level than will be required to beat any of the top 3 southern sides..no excuses for the wallabies today, expect them to win well and then put the fear of God into the ABs all week....and for the next 4 years !!!

Wales will beat France, it's all about attitude and desire from here on, and Wales certainly brought that with them. France playing 2 good games in a row?
l'impossible!

Not a very good tip there from the kiwi..your worst nightmare was just realized.

Aussie sneaked through amazing, no possesion, no territory and the smallest of margins, damn what a brutal game, Smit's face told the story at the end of game interview.
South Africa were very very unlucky not to have won that game, difficult to say the best team won on the day.
Aussie arn't my worst nightmare mate, I have faced alot scarier things in my live than that.

I think you know whose worst nightmare I was talking about, but anyway I thought you lot would have learnt to be more gracious in defeat than what you've shown. We just witnessed one of the bravest defensive efforts in the history of the modern game and you tell us how unlucky the boks were !!A clinic for the Brave Blossoms to sit up and take notes. Best and toughest game of the tournament, and thats something else thats going to go against the ABS next week -lack of playing a punishing game in a long while..

Hardly, the Argie bargies would have beaten most other teams with that physical defensive display. Roll on Dingo Deans Vs Ted Jaffa.

All Blacks just got the hard game they hadn't had for a long while. And together with there hiding in Brisbane in August, they've had a rougher road than previous world cups.
Oh, and hats off to the Wallabies today, that was great stuff. They played just like they always do in the big games. But we are gonna beat you next week! :)

Yes I wrote that before the Puma game expecting another training run...not getting over the stripe until the 62nd minute must send worrying signals thru the camp-not to mention the 2 key injuries picked up..Wallabies still not quite right, but must go into the semi super confident...ABS ? well,I think they would much prefer to be playing the boks..the playing field has evened itself right out now(psychologically especially).

The argies are a good team ask heda madness the mighty english ( :p) struggled to get past them 13 - 9. They took a bit of time to crack for the ABs but the score line was respectable 33 -10, the argies made the all blacks work hard.
Looking at the score line shows just how good the other teams in Group B were not .
The ABs lost to Aussie once this year it isnt going to happen twice in a year and they havent lost to aus at eden park for 25 years, the fortress beckons bring it dingo deans and the wannabies.
Remember the last game nz v aus eden park ? 20 nil half time !

Fans like EE kind of make me wish for an AB victory..whether we win or lose the run of the mill Wallaby supporter is over it in a day or two...but the people from over the ditch carry it in their veins...I should laugh when you use history and hoodoos to present a case considering your own WC 'disappointments' but thats the nature of the 1 eye fan..this side of yours will be under more pressure from its natives than ever before and I hope you play as well as you can..

Not scoring until the 62nd minute is exactly what the Blacks needed.
From a psychological perspective (which has a big weighting in knockout), yes the ABs might wanna be playing SA, but from a technical perspective, ABs have come out of the SA Wallabies QF looking better off. SA dominated in the forwards, with possession and territory, the just didn't score. Wallabies haven't been one of the form teams this world cup, ABs even with their injuries go into this one looking better. With his whole homeland of New Zealand against him, Cooper definitely hasn't got a psycholigical advantage, and Eden park isn't the best ground for the wallabies team. One thing is for certain, one team is going home on Monday.

Yep, but remember also that the Wallabies have never lost to the All Blacks at a World Cup! That record will hopefully continue next week when the ABs let their nerves get the better of them. They certainly weren't that impressive against Argentina...
