    I'm also sad that Watson couldn't pull it through. It would have been historic if had won. He's been fun to watch though.

    I am so broken hearted! My life seems meaningless now after old Watson used the wrong size iron!

    That was painful to watch...should have been an easy two-putt par from the edge of the green.

    I figured it was pretty much over once it went into a playoff - 59 year old guy who missed his chance to close it out vs. 34 year old guy who sank a big putt on the 18th to put himself in the running.

    Definitely sad, but I can only feel so sorry for the guy. The winner deserves the credit for winning, and I'm thankful he didn't tank his own chances in favour of public sentiment.

    Watson should have had it, and it's a major shame he did not, but in the end I think the nerves were too much for him.
