First off, if it was not hot enough to burn him flat out and he could get angry and lash out at the attacker, it's most certainly not hot enough to burn. And baldness is genetic -- not something caused by 'hot' water. For it to be even remotely hot enough to scald the skin to the point of irreparable damage to cuticles would likely have killed him, given where it was poured, and regardless of it being unkempt. And the doctor must have gotten his degree from the school of bad imagination if he was being serious about the potential for baldness from hot water.
And anyway -- what's wrong with being bald? Might make you more slick in your wrestling holds.
