Incredible sight to watch this. Yamanaka fought the whole thing with a right jab, saving for just the occasional deadly left. The Argentinian was very brave, heavily bloodied, yet continuing to swing heavy hits, but Yamanaka's final left corkscrew to the chin and throat shattered him.

This was played and replayed and replayed on the morning news. Since the Japanese boxer won, NTV didn't even have the courtesy to mention his opponent's name. Not ONCE.

At least Yamanaka won but for the US Masters golfing tournament, the evening Japanese TV covered only Matsuyama and didn't bother to mention, not once, Jordan Speith's phenomenal win. In disbelief I asked my Japanese wife the reason and she said Japanese are not interested in any other player than Matsuyama and valuable TV seconds can't be wasted; I nearly choked to death on my beer.

Sports reporting here is unashamedly biased. Not going to change today or tomorrow. Just the way it is.

I like it when a boxer goes to shake hands with, or hugs his/her opponent. Sadly didn't happen in this case.
