    that was terrible. really terrible. Once again Hanshin will come up short after having all the momentum.

    Typical Japanese management practice. A great squad of players who took a 12 or 13 game lead, managed by a man given the job because he fits the Hanshin corporation description. When the heat is on and when Kyojin whittled this down to only a 5 game lead then Okada got rattled. I'd like to see a foreign coach get the Tigers job, although he would find it to be a nightmare of a job. Tigers fans deserve much more. In the 9th with 2 outs and losing 9-1 (and after seeing their pennant lead knocked down to 1 game from 12) the supporters were still as deafening as usual. Respect to them.
