    What a game!

Pure entertainment from start to finish.

It was nice. Amazing that even in their old age, the united seniors continuously beat the Osaka players to the ball. It shows the massive gulf between Europe and Asia but it was a great spectacle none the less.

    Where are Rangers?

Strewth, the Japanese was rubbish innit.

They only got a penalty because they must have been "nicer" to the ref than Utd. It weren't handball, accidental, bloody twisters.

The level of them Japanese was about league 1, a Championship team would ot muscle them easy like.

Anyway it's all about dosh these days, sod Man Utd. UP the Hammers!!!

burikko- Rangers is a bunch of silly boys up north. They can play pretty decent, dirty players the Scots thogh. Manchester United was thrashing em. It was onnly cause they weren't trying that they let in 2 goals.

Wish it had been West Ham out there, we would've clobbered Osaka 10 nothing, bloody easily.

Well the last goal by hashimoto was the best of the lot! Great noise from gamba fans, but I'm not sure if they just had a recorder on and clapped along. They singing was too synchronous and way too persistent to be real!

The only problem being that West Ham would have to have some kind of success in England & Europe before even being considered for a tournament like this. Am still waiting on your evidence that Manchester United have bribed their way to success and also of the "millions" that the UK government gave to the club for absolutely no reason. I also take it you didn't watch this game, as Gamba played well and to their strengths. Just got outclassed by a better team who, admittadly playing not in top gear for most of the game, did enough to win.

soldave- It's a well known fact abot Man U mate. All teams give the ref a bottle of scotch before the match, it's tradition innit.

But old Ferguson, the canny Scot, gets it wholesale and leaves a crate out for the ref.The Japanese was trying hard, but they aint got no muscle and they need to practise passing more. They was too slow against the old boys, strewth they need to tone up their fitness. Maybe a nip of whisky wiv their half time trea as a livener, that was Alf Ramseys method ntil he sold us out to the Germans for a handfull of Deutchmarks.

I reckon United might come unstuck in the next game, they will be too tired and jet lagged and all that.

Wish it had been West Ham out there, we would've clobbered Osaka 10 nothing, bloody easily.

Only problem is, what with West Ham United Football Club being up for sale and all, by next week they might be known as East Ham Mosque FC.

I think Ronaldo was great, he's the spitting image of our drag act down the Harlow Cock and Bull on Friday nights.

Rooney was great too the podgey rascal, lovely ability, shame about the looks dear!!

The Japanese were overawed, and didn'T start playing well into the last 20 minutes.
