    The new kindle paperwhite won't ship to Japan, which is lame. I think same for fire.

    The old kindles are still in stock and will ship to japan. I don't know about the old fire.

    I cannot understand why they won't ship here. I wrote customer service asking why/ if&when it will change, and they just parroted "have no plans to ship at this time"
