3900? Just shy of 4 times the cost of hulu Japan? it better have a much bigger selection at that cost!

Amazon US has a pretty good catalogue, and some of their original stuff is great. I'd be interested to know if they will offer all of that in Japan (and if so, how long it will take). Amazon Prime US is $100 a year so perhaps not.

This is really great news. I subscribe to Hulu but it is easy to burn through their movie selections. And Prime, which I just recently joined, is amazingly quick. You can recoup your annual membership fee through reduced subway tolls, not to mention lower Amazon prices. The video streaming to be added in Japan is just icing on the cake.
