Apple should introduce something really unique in these days of tax avoidance: an app that allows tax authorities to be paid properly by the seller in the jurisdiction where a purchase transaction takes place.

I'm not kidding. Think Different. The Iwallet. Foldable screen. Then, the Icard.

I'm a little disappointed at Apple. All the real good features of the new iPhone will be on the larger 5.5" model leaving the smaller sized iPhone with the same features as previous phones. Sorry but 5.5" is just WAY to large a phone to carry around. Can't even put it in your pocket of a loose pair jogging pants without the weight of it pulling down the pants when running. Just too bulky and heavy. Maybe 2017 will bring something better but now that leaves me another year with my oversized 5.5" Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phablet. Phooey!

There is some modest interest among Apple fans for the new launch, but anyone interested by now knows that this is phone is not going to be a great leap forward. So no, the world is not watching.

The Apple watch, even if improved, is still a waste of space.

And they still can't make a charger that lasts 12 months without duct tape. You'd think they'd care about quality. Check out the Apple Store on chargers, the complaints are a mile long. They just don't care at this point.

If they would use a standard plug of some kind, then people could use better longer lasting OEM chargers that last years and years. Usually last longer than the computer

No they don't.

Yes they do.

Love Apple or hate em, tech nerds are on this thread and will be on the thread Thursday after the unveiling.

The casual viewer knows about the new unveiling but has no idea or clue about similar Samsung events.

Rumour has it it's not going to have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. That's going to mess with a lot of people. Also you'll need a charging station for bluetooth headphones etc. It would be funny if it wasn't included.

Heard this too - it would be a classic bit of Apple arrogance . If they do, it will put a lot of people off.

What people...., the i-sheep/mass media, will chalk it up as something revolutionary and praise it's uniqueness and daring approach, meanwhile questioning why other makers still use such an old and inferior technique.

Oooh! Aaaah! Oooh! Zzzzzzzzzzz ....

rumour confirmed. ... no headphone jack. Say goodbye to any headphones you invested in. Also I bet anyone who gets this loses the earpieces within hours

This will turn a lot of people away or increase sales in the 6 series

Say goodbye to any headphones you invested in.

Why? With the included adapter you'll still be able to use them.
