It hadn't occured to me before but I'm really surprised to hear that Apple didn't have a store in HK until now. I guess I'd just assumed that they had had a store there before they opened stores in Mainland China.

USNin: Thought so too. Wonder why it took them so long?

Just got back from an Apple Genius Bar. Told them my iPhone4's audio receiver was broken. Gave me another one. 3 days before the warranty expires. Heh.

I thought HK would have had one by now, as USNinJapan2 did. Other parts of China, I can see, but Hong Kong should have had one long ago. Better late than never, I guess, and clearly the people were waiting for it.

This is not good for all those fake apple stores on the main land.

The Apple iPad is the epitome of all computors - pssibly the greatest invention of the 21st century. (Thank the Good Lord for Google, Mictosoft and Bing.)

Beijing's going to have a fit over this - Apple's going to dilute the market and kill off the counterfeits! ;-)
