Of course. The future is quite dim right now. If this company still has funds earmarked they should appropriate it to the people they want to dump in other prefectures first.

Demands have only slumped because the Far East investors have demanded payback for their loans to American banks.

The rising layoffs in America means less demand to less spending due to the Far East getting tough on those banks.

However, the powers that be caused this financial crisis globally just to make the US dollar stronger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That way, Hollywood can film more propaganda aka pablum for the mind on Canadian soil and save a mint. Indeed, I bet Battle Star Galactica actually stopped production because the Canadian dollar was doing good last year.

This still doesn't explain Firefly's demise, but I bet that was because that dystopian future was revealing Beijing's master plan!!

So the real reason why Canon has to postpone its Nagasaki plant is because of the rising American dollar and the manufactured recession just so the Far East investors can profit some from their US dollar investments.

Oh no! I really wanted that new Canon digital camera plant in Nagasaki! Who cares! Build it in Mexico (part of NAFTA) and save a whole love of money!
