Jeeez, am real glad I don't live too close to these things, it not the reactors but the people who run them that terrify.

I'm sure the part-timers who do the demolition will get extensive training, (perhaps as much as 10 minutes) before being handed helmets and hammers and told to ignore the hair loss.
But at least Japan will not get charged for their treatment because they have no benefits and their records of working on the project will be "unfortunately lost" if they make claims.
And for those nearby, have no fear. The president of Chubu Electric is doubtless prepared to bow very deeply and resign to become the head of a govt agency when it's discovered that the waste was dumped offshore or used for building houses because it cost too much to dispose of it properly.
