Fascinating industry that will only grow. With it there will most likely be a corresponding growth in the size of the unnecessariat and precariat classes. Tough times ahead for those without the skills the markets need.

With Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems becoming more commonplace, there will be even fewer jobs for the everyday soldier type, a historical form of work for those in the armies of the under-employed and unemployed. And then there's the technological singularity to look forward to.

Soma and the feelies, however, would make things right in this brave, new world.

Perfect employees, never gets paid, never stops working, never has children, never contributes to a country, never buys anything, never contributes to the economy.

All the profits and none of the costs. Population will go down, population could disappear, has no connection to anything. Only greed ensures profits increase because that's all that matters.

Sad sad world... or what that "Game Changer"?
