TOKYO —

Domestic shipments of digital cameras produced by Japanese makers grew 3% from a year before to 854,190 units in February, an industry group said Tuesday.

Shipments of single-lens reflex cameras soared 89.9% to 97,785 units, while those of compact digital cameras fell 2.8% to 756,405 units, said the Camera & Imaging Products Association.
