For such a simple idea, it sounds rather complex. Tokens????

One hurdle facing the digital locker concept is that the retailer collecting money on the sale may not be the one that bears the cost of delivering the movie over set-top boxes or the Internet. So far, the necessary web of deals allowing for that complex transaction has not been set up.

Sounds like a rather important thing to settle if you ask me.

The article says that movies will be able to be viewed on any device, but then says that file formats have not been decided. This means that you will only be able to view the movies on devices that play the approved file format, i.e. not "any device". They should rather say "any approved device".
