I have a DS and I have no intentions of upgrading to the DSi. Using my R4 I'm also able to "download software from the internet" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Speaking of the R4, I don't think they will work with the DSi, unless ones have been developed. Anyone know anything about this?
I think I'll wait until the next version is released, which supposedly will have two touch screens (http://forums.techarena.in/video-games/1032787.htm)

Yeah, you'd have to have a good reason for wanting the DSi if you already have a regular DS. I was kinda worried what it might mean for train security; pervs using the DSi to take dodgy photos? It might tarnish Nintendo's reputation if they get up to that. I have heard different reasons for people being requested to turn off their phones in trains and subways; some say manners, other say interference with pacemakers or radio equipment, and another I heard was to prevent dodgy photographers.

they fail to say that the DSi cannot play GBA cartridges like the old DS. It does seem a little heavier and not as durable.
