What happened to water powered car invented in Osaka a few months ago? It seems like they silenced his invention because they can't charge people for tap water or sea water to refill their tanks. Yeah, free fuel would be a disaster for greedy governments who are desperately trying to leach out more money from hard working people...

Actually, cars powered with water would be something the Japanese government would be very happy about as there would be greater energy security for resource-poor Japan. The Japanese gov. would jump at a chance to be able to link themselves with a way around high gas prices for political reasons.
However as great as eco-friendly cars are they seem to e distracting the summit from more important issues or the environment in broader terms.

the Prius is gonna be available with a solar cell roof = makes sense to me, plus it rewards you by not driving it. (the true anti-car)

BS, instead of buyin' a car that rewards you by not drivin' it, why not just take the bus and save yourself a whole bunch of money? You'll feel like you're contributin' to what's really a non-issue and the car will be in ecstacy. Seems like a win-win for the two of you.
