Now that they mentioned it, the iPhone 3G does feel warm sometimes... I wonder if I should file a complaint...

No matter how many negative stories about Apple they are a mere drop in the ocean compared to negtive stories about other well known providers

Still won't get an iPhone though as I am not going back to Softbank

Um, the title is misleading, no?

I really don't see anyone getting a "pass" here. Rather, it seems as though the critics are saying that apple can crap all over the consumer, and some people will think it is raining fudge.

I had a long, drawn-out argument with another poster regarding the merits of the iphone. I still believe the Japanese lanch should have included some of the things that are basic here, like the saifu and a tiny hole for the strap.

Until Apple get serious about letting people inside the phone to develop their own apps, and starts to let the consumer make some of their own choices in regards to service and functions, then they will continue to alienate some, and flat out lose others.

    G'Day

I got the iphone 4 days ago, and so far am very happy with it. I am glad I read many of the problems on blogs beforehand so i knew what I was getting in for. I also wish it had the strap holes and a saifu function but it doesn't. It does get hot, but so did my old sharp... Overall I think, for me, the pros out weigh then cons.

Sounds exactly like the same stuff windows users say. I guess Mac is becoming more and more like their nemesis. Shoddy software is just the start, wait till they start showing the blue screen of death.
