Personally, I use my mobile phone (non-smartphone) in Japan for FB -- reading posts, posting comments, and even sending/receiving messages.

The question is: with the recent article regarding Andriod viruses/malware on the rise, does FB-HTC have a contingency plan for this? Or are we just risking our personal accounts' security for social mobility?

So Facebook, a huge data mining company, wants to make you a smart phone. Say bye-bye to any kind of privacy.

There are other options to smartphones other than Android. In fact, Windows Phone has the best Facebook integration.

It'll be called Social Platform Integration phone, SPI phone ;-)
