Meh. It's not like users had a choice when FaceBook forced us out of in-app messaging with the FaceBook app.

Utter nonsense. Then why remove the ability to message with the native FB on phones and tablets? Rather than download a completely separate app. For a tech and communication company they are not very intuitive, you get a chat notification on FB but have to use another app to see and reply to said messages.

Wonder how many people have multiple FB accounts. I have 2.

I'm guessing you're one among millions. I know some people with several: they use them with identities of the characters in online games they play so that they can interact with other group members, about the group and the game, without interfering with regular FB activity (and in some cases to avoid giving up their real identities). One is more than enough for me, though I almost made another for the aforementioned purpose when I use to game a little.

has anyone tried "Serkit Social Messenger" , it seems to be really a good messenger bringing out the best of whatsapp and Facebook.. though as with any messenger, struggling to get traction. I really like the app, but most of my friends are on whatsapp :(, just like when I joined whatsapp in 2011, nobody was there..
Hope this messenger also gets traction.
