"Although it denied bias, "

"Editors will still vet the list, but t"

So. There is a summary for everyone. That is really all you have to read. Facebook has no idea what bias is or what causes it, but it insists that there is not any bias going on here. But the same talking head notes that editors will still change lists.

I think modern journalism is simply a test to find out how dumb people really are. Will people believe what Facebook says even if they contradict themselves? Of course they will.

The glut of interference and static from Facebook contributions to my Facebook page may soon get me to shut it all down. Yes, I'm a member of two groups on it, and would like to keep those contacts, but maybe I'll simply begin an email connection with them. No ads at all.

Not even remotely. Facebook still has a ridiculous amount of daily users, and manages to keep itself quite relevant. It's the leading the Social networking game.

I can't say I'm a big Facebook fan, but I respect that they push the envelope. They're driving the industry, and they are even creating a lot of new technology that is used on the internet these days.

Since the "top stories vs most recent" news feed (that you cannot force the selection) Facebook wants to decide what is good for you to read from your friends and what is not necessary to, I personally find all those coded and tested algorithm a real intrusion and we all know that the motivation behind that heavy control is certainly not to benefit users.
