So you would consider DVDs to be imaginary videos and emails to be imaginary messages?Pretty impressive that 'imaginary' money can be used to buy real things.

There is a whole lot more to this story that we don't know yet

It's amazing what you find in the pockets of old clothes. This has been fishy from the start.

Real convenient as the government gets closer. Give them a few bread crumbs and no one will notice it was an inside job!

I just went to check out the contents of my old wallet, but there was nothing except an expired driver's license and card to a hospital that I stopped going to after that cute nurse quit.

People investing in imaginary money. Liberals poopoo precious metals, an investment that has been around for millennia, as a store or wealth, but went crazy over a fad like Bitcoin.

I think you're thinking of Libertarians... since liberals are not fans of Bitcoins in general. Well, you can't really assign who is likely to buy into Bitcoins to any political affiliation.

Anyway, most liberals are opposed on the ground that Bitcoins are not regulated. So really, the Bitcoins are more of a conservative/libertarian dream currency.

So what are bit coins worth? I always insist on currency issued by a government. Anyhow Thomas what can you buy with bit coins now?

Where has anyone ever 'poopooed' precious metals?

All currency is imaginary. It's value is worth as only as much as society thinks it's worth. The same thing is true about precious metals and gems. The value of currency can drastically change day to day. Anyone who was in the currency trading and hedging in the 90s will remember the Russia currency crash.

Bit coin really isn't all that different from precious metals. It's value is based on the market says it's worth. It changes day to day.

I think they should start checking all their old wallets for the remainder of the money.

A coworker recently found like 160 USD in an old wallet from when her mom went to the US in the 60s. She has no plans to go and so gave me the money.

Maybe BitCoin will survive in the end, but let's just say I'm not willing to be one of the beta testers....
