Something is either unique, or it isn't. It's like being pregnant - you can't be a little bit pregnant.
And why do the locals spend so much time obsessing about their uniqueness? Every culture is unique - and guess what? More than a couple have four seasons as well.
Still, nobody ever went broke telling punters what they want to hear.

Japanese culture is so rich and beautiful, moreover when we compare it to a western country like USA.
