Good, Google, Yahoo and others should also maintain 'independent' id and let us see how business grows then.

$47.5 billion takeover bid"

Damn, I wish I had $47.5 billion to play with. I'd consider putting together an armed force to remove Burma's miitary dictatorship and get aid through to those suffering people.

You could buy the Burma gov for a fraction of that 47.5Billion and send them packing to the carribean without any blood shed. Then spend a couple of billion in direct aid to the people and use the rest to pay off Burma's national debt and build new infrastructure to encourage foriegn investment. Properly spent in 1o years Burma could be South Korea.

VoXman, In that plan, Bill becomes the emperor/living god of Burma and change the name of the country to "the Microsoft (Evil) Empire" or the "Empire of the Rising Window".
