Global 2013 smartphone sales to hit 1 billion: survey

It'll be interesting to see if and how Microsoft's purchase of Nokia will affect sales of phones running Windows Phone. At this stage in the game, RIM Blackberry is pretty much a write off. Hopefully with Android in the lead, those 'geniuses' at Apple will actually start innovating, rather than making high priced reincarnations of the same phone and calling it a revolutionary innovation.
