Nah, they decided not to kowtow to terrorists and stand behind their product. In any case, they have a system that does not get hacked -- which puts the reasoning behind Google and Microsoft standing behind Sony getting hacked and kowtowing in its proper light.

if M$ wasn't so full of holes, hackers would not be able to do what they do.

Patch after patch are released as holes are found and patched.

I be more interested in a M$ Windows without all of the bells and whistles and they take their time over making it so it didn't need to be patched..

Instead of rental, if SONY sell on DVD, it will make a lot of money. Rental? People can copy and give free to friends and or relatives right away. Of cause DVD can be copied but at least Sony has sales revenue.
