Google is a very effective, if extremely liberal, company. Great search engine BUT William Safire passed recently and for some reason no matter how much I googled, I could find nary a reference to his wonderful novel FREEDOM about the Civil War years in the US. Of course we note that this article hints at some fictional end to a our worst recession in seventy years. The US economy remains in bad shape. If it improves, it will be due to the efforts of hard working men and women and not the Obama Administration. Of course the source of this article is the AP (O). Anyone who says things are better is akin to Baghdad Bob refusing to admit American tanks were in Baghdad until they were virtually crashing through his office.
