This is just Google Drive apps with an extra security layer so idiots dont mix their naked selfies with their work documents.

I use Drive every day for work. It is excellent.

IDC estimates more than 1 billion Android phones were sold last year, compared to 193 million iPhones. The huge disparity has largely been driven by Google’s decision to give away its Android phones, helping to make the devices running on the software more affordable than iPhones.

I did not know Google was now giving out free phones. Probably hit you with a large contract with a crappy phone.

The contract is where the cost of the phone is absorbed. As far as "crappy", my Samsung Galaxy S4 has been working flawlessly for me since I bought it. "Crappy" must be what people who paid too much for an iPhone tell themselves to try and make themselves feel better.

Sorry, but "flawlessly" and "Samsung" don't mix well in the same sentence. LOL.

This makes me laugh. Google Drive works sporadically, and it's lost important data on me. The google drives on my desktop, laptop and phone contain different files from each other -- even though theyre on the same account! I mean, come on. It's a (bad) joke.

My Android phone often refuses to open simple email attachments, like Word files. Only a fool would use such a thing for work.

Phone calls and entertainment, sure. Work? Gotta be laptops and thumbdrives.

I've never had this problem in 4+ years of using Android phones. Perhaps it's a user problem, Jeff?

@Pandabelle

"Perhaps it's a user problem, Jeff?"

Oh yeah, me the user is clearly doing the wrong thing by clicking on the buttons that read "open attachment " and "view attachment" in both my email client and a couple of web mail apps. Bad me.

I also forgot to add: my handset fails to update its clock, I've noticed a number of times. Once, it made me 15 minutes late for a meeting. I have dusted off my old wristwatch and wear it every day now.

You simply cannot rely on an Android device.

Nope, sounds like something you're doing. Clicking on dodgy attachments? Going to spammy websites and getting an infection?

I'm on my third Android phone for personal use and I have had one for work. None had any problems doing any of the things you mention.
