    Millions more titles could be added to On Demand’s virtual inventory if Google gets federal court approval of a class-action settlement that would grant it the right to sell copyrighted books no longer being published.

    ...and every bookstore with one of these machines installed will instantly have a library that will be the envy of anything in existence now. A new Renaissance for book lovers!

    With only a dozen locations, though, it's probably still cheaper to have Amazon send it to you, if you.

    You have to include your transport fare into the price. and come to grips with the fact that most of these books should be available at any decent public or university library for free.

    Seen a video of the machine at work. 300 pages double-sided binded book in 5 minutes; that's fast printing.
