This is so sad. One needs real crayons and art supplies to do real art.
When my daughter was a kid and wanted electronic games like her friends had, I gave her a choice. The game or real art supplies.
She chose the art supplies, and ever since became a brilliant artist and using her skills this day.
My ex bought my youngest daughter those stupid electronic game boy things, and to this day her art skills have sunk to kiddie scribble.

Something seems a bit odd here in this article. If you allow me I'd just like to point it out.
If I'm wrong about this please feel free to correct me and / or add additional information. As I understand it.
The SOPA -Stop Online Privacy Act would affect this product, no? It's something I'm against of course. However I was a bit surprised that Disney would field such a product with the possibility that SOPA might pass.
If your child uses this app then uploads the video to YouTube, that family might be in big trouble. I think the product is nice. Don't get me wrong. I just think once they start making videos the kids will want to try other songs. Apparently that's where SOPA will come in and try to haul your parents off to jail cause Little Johnny tried to do his best Kanye West cover.
Anyway, that's just something I wanted to point out.

Heh, my 3-yr-old nephew already knows how to use his iPad2, plays games and watches Youtube on it.

I find it sad that parents are more than happy to hand over such an expensive toy rather than spending some quality time with them. Five years down the line they'll be the parents claiming their kid as ADD or ADHD and wonder why.
