    Apparently the first incidents happened through September to December last year - it has taken them nearly 4 months to take action. The battery packs are made by neither Kyocera or KDDI, which has not helped...

    I think “apply caution” means have the battery replaced (for free). That's what it says on the Kyocera website anyway. Sometimes JT misses important details that make stories sound kind of funny.
