KDDI to hold 'FULL CONTROL YOUR CITY' campaign event

KDDI Corp on Tuesday will hold a one-off event from its current campaign “FULL CONTROL YOUR CITY.” The campaign illustrates a better, innovative, more exciting future with KDDI’s new service au 4G LTE to generate advanced service and solution over smartphone.

KDDI is offering the community a chance to experience and take part in the campaign by launching the new app ODOROKI.

The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and includes community engagement activities. Some of the highlights include interactive collaboration with Japanese pop singer Kyarypamyupamyu. KDDI will be live streaming the event on its campaign site. By using the ODOROKI app, everyone can get a chance to participate in the interactive features on a real-time.

“FULL CONTROL YOUR CITY” illustrates a revolutionary world which au 4G LTE could bring to the near future. One can enjoy a better, innovative, more exciting future which can be controlled with the smartphone. This is an integrated campaign launched in December 2012 across many different channels (TV-CM, promotional site, public relations etc).

When will Japanese companies learn to use English? KDDI is descended from KDD, which was the international telephone monopoly in Japan, and their English is atrocious.

Hmm.... Interesting comment, traveller. Interesting, because it has nothing to do with the topic of the article. lol... rather strange...

Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on the future. It will be so amazing when stuff is actually utilized to its full potential. I've long thought that a person's main computer should be in their car. That way their stuff is always near, and the cars could network to provide a true, all-encompassing internet. Your phone and everything else would just connect through that.
