that biblio phone looks interesting. it is almost a smart phone with touch screen, full keyboard and wifi. can't do skype or proper mp3 player, but you have your usual au widgets. good trade-off? well, gonna wait until android phone for au hits the market and see.
Is it a phone? Is it a video camera? Is it a still camera? Is it a PC? Is it an MP3 player? They are just trying top put too much into these PHONES. Yes, it is a phone! That's all! Does one really need so much junk packed into one unit? The trade-offs in image quality, battery life and expandability make them a trendy gadget. The iPhone is a great example. So many applications, widgets and functions, but as soon as you start using it for more then telephone calls the battery dies. Trendy geeks toys.
I am waiting until they take a Japanese phone and put android on it. While Japanese phones usually have superior hardware (for their price), the GUI and whole operating system are severely lacking. It's also very locked-down. The HTC Magic however, is a few years behind in all but battery technology (320x480 screen? That's 2005 tech). The design, while nice, is still very much one size fits all.
So, yeah, I'm waiting until a Japanese android phone.

"hi-vision" is not English. Thank you; that is all.
TRichfield at 03:31 PM JST - 26th May
I'm with you, Nessie. "high definition" should be used instead of hi-vision.

A great idea, Hi Vision Video Camera

Unless it's a special upskirt model, of course; then hi-vision works.

@TRichfield
I suspect "Thigh definition" would be even more accurate.

With the small crappy lenses, all this 'high vision' will do is store crappy video that takes up more room than the other regular video...
