So ... MicroSoft has made an interface software to tap into the competition's applications market?

I dunno, a 55-inch TV costing thousands of dollars hardly sounds like a "gadget" to me...
I thought Snapykey's "invisible keyboard", a completely new interface for text input on mobile devices, was pretty cool.

Pretty excited about this whole ultrabook concept - will wait for the kinks to be worked out and the prices to come down. Elvensilvan, Windows 8 was designed with the ultrabooks in mind - apparently it is a cross-platform OS designed to compete with some of the stuff Google's been developing. Competition is a very good thing!

Google probably won't complain too much. The apps that are not free are still going to have to be purchased through Google's Android Market. Google still gets their pint of blood and apps developers don't have to learn a THIRD OS to program for.

Hmm...dozens of new TABLETS to rival the Apple Ipad?? This sounds like good news to me!

After comparing all the TV's the other day at Midori, I would be quite happy with a Sharp LED model. I am amazed at how cheap the LED TV's are now compared to what the old type were selling for several years ago.
