NEC to deploy mobile broadband routers for disaster management in Hungary

NEC Corp has announced that NEC Eastern Europe Kft, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Europe Ltd, will be supplying their BBRide mobile broadband routers to the National Directorate General for Disaster Management (NDGDM) in Hungary. NDGDM will use the BBRide for research on disasters such as floods and forest fires.

BBbride combines different communication lines such as 2.5G, 3G, 3.5G and Wi-Fi to provide fast and high capacity communications. Since BBride efficiently distributes data among multiple networks, data-intensive applications such as video can be viewed in real time. In addition, BBRide can also connect simultaneously multiple mobile operators and transmit data using the best communication lines. In effect, it can provide continuous and stable communications even within fast moving vehicles.
